Homecoming ’08/ Justin Time

”Justin always plays us tough and we knew they would today,” Coach Brackett explained. But on this Homecoming day at Novato High, defense was king. The Justin Sienna tricky veer offense mounted only 40 yards rushing and only crossed midfield twice. Locked in a 0-0 tie with under 3 minutes let in the first half, Novato’s Defensive End JT Peleki literally ripped the ball from the hands of Justin running back, Marcus Solis. And gave the Hornet offense the ball in striking distance. Mike Polvere scored on an 18-yard reverse to put Novato up at halftime.

Novato pulled away to a convincing 30-0 victory, their 24th consecutive league win.
